We’re thrilled to hand over the reins for an evening to two familiar faces—our own Kaz Khosrowmanesh and beloved Valley alum Jake Drummond—who’ve just launched Sea Priest Selections, a new importing project focused on low-intervention wines from Japan.

Sea Priest was born out of a deep admiration for Japanese craftsmanship, sustainability, and care—a reflection of the country’s winemaking scene, which has quietly exploded in recent decades. From mountain-grown grapes in Nagano to hybrid varietals in subtropical Kyushu, the wines coming out of Japan today offer a remarkable lens into the land itself—transparent, expressive, and deeply rooted in place.

Join us for this one-night-only experience, with these exclusive wines available by the taste, glass, and bottle, alongside à la carte menu specials that will reflect the seafaring spirit and fresh flavors of Japanese cuisine. This is the California debut for many of these winemakers, and we’re honored to be part of the story as Kaz and Jake bring them to a new coast.
